Medzinárodná konferencia altaistov v Dunajskej Strede
Filozofická fakulta Univerzity Komenského je jedným zo spoluorganizátorom 58. stálej medzinárodnej altaistickej konferencie, ktorá sa bude konať od 7. do 10. septembra v Dunajskej Strede. Hlavným organizátorom je Občianske združenie Vámbéryho z Dunajskej Stredy, ktoré nadväzuje na odkaz maďarského orientalistu Ármina Vámbéryho (1832-1913). Medzi ďalších spoluorganizátorov patrí Ústav orientalistiky SAV, mesto Dunajská streda a Národná Széchényiho knižnica v Budapešti.
Na konferencii sa zídu významní svetoví turkológovia, mongolisti, odborníci na Centrálnu Áziu a Mandžuov, ktorí vystúpia s príspevkami venovanými jazykom, kultúram, náboženstvu, literatúram a dejinám týchto regiónov.
