Editing Medieval Sources of Diplomatic Character

Objective:
To have theoretical knowledge and practical abilities to edit historical diplomatic sources.

- Types of source publications
- Rules of transcription
- Rules of edition
- Formal requirements of source publications
- Methodics of editing of source publications
- Online databases of mediaeval charters and their usage
Graduation requirements:
- Regular attendance and active engaging in seminars, elaboration of assigned homework and seminar work, in which the student will edit a historical diplomatic source chosen after consultation with the teacher. Based on the aforementioned seminar work, which must be prepared and submitted during the semester, will the students receive classification.
- Number of acceptable absences: 2.
