Objective:

To have theoretical knowledge and practical abilities to edit historical diplomatic sources.

  • Types of source publications
  • Rules of transcription
  • Rules of edition
  • Formal requirements of source publications
  • Methodics of editing of source publications
  • Online databases of mediaeval charters and their usage 

Graduation requirements:

  • Regular attendance and active engaging in seminars, elaboration of assigned homework and seminar work, in which the student will edit a historical diplomatic source chosen after consultation with the teacher. Based on the aforementioned seminar work, which must be prepared and submitted during the semester, will the students receive classification.
  • Number of acceptable absences: 2.
