Objective:
Following on from the course Diplomatics of the Middle Ages, students will deepen their knowledge of medieval diplomacy and acquire skills in reading and translating various types of documents originating from the offices of several medieval institutions.
Brief outline:
Reading, analyzing and interpreting Hungarian documents of the Middle Ages.
Graduation requirements:
- Regular participation and active involvement in seminars, completion of assigned tasks, including a seminar paper in which the student will study certain sources of a diplomatic nature. The seminar paper, on the basis of which the student will receive an assessment, must be submitted during the examination period.
- Number of acceptable absences: 2.
