or – how to finalize your own professional book with the help of teachers

 

The course is taught by: all teachers from the Department of Archives and Museology (the student chooses whom he/she wants)

Objective:

This is a practically oriented course, thanks to which the student, in cooperation with the teacher, will continue the critical analysis of sources relevant to his/her chosen topic, will be able to summarize knowledge in the form of a synthesis into a comprehensive final thesis (approximately 60-100 standard pages, while the list of literature and references in footnotes are not counted).

Brief outline:

• Methodological issues of processing a bachelor's thesis
• Criticism and interpretation of source material
• Synthesis of acquired information and knowledge
• Combining partial results into a whole and final editing of the diploma thesis

Graduation requirements:

Fulfillment of ongoing activities = 100% of the assessment (consists of the student's activity, his fulfillment of jointly agreed stages in formulating the thesis).

• Additional literature will be specified according to the topic of the master's thesis during the semester.
