Objective:

This is a practically oriented course, thanks to which the student, in cooperation with the teacher, will be able to choose the topic of the final thesis, to master the heuristics of the literature and to prepare the first introductory parts of the final bachelor thesis. He/she will be able to define the subject of his/her research, critically evaluate previous literature, assess the value of relevant historical sources, and master the formal procedures for the preparation of a bachelor thesis.

Selection of the topic of the bachelor thesis, chronological and geographical definition
Formal and content aspects of the bachelor thesis
Heuristics of literature and sources
Issues of ethics of scientific work
Critical evaluation of the literature on the chosen topic
Evaluation of relevant historical sources
Layout of the analytical part of the bachelor thesis

Graduation Requirements:

Fulfillment of intermediate activities = 100% of the grade (consists of the student's activity, his/her fulfillment of mutually agreed stages in the formulation of the thesis).
