Objective:

The course focuses on deepening theoretical knowledge and its application in situ in the exploration of memory institutions and monuments of supra-regional importance in Slovakia. It acquires practical experience of the significance of cultural and technical heritage of Slovakia and knowledge for their proper evaluation and interpretation. The student actively participates in the preparation of the selection of a site suitable for excursion.

Brief overview:

• Based on the knowledge gained from other courses, students will design an itinerary for an excursion in Slovakia,
• selection of the excursion location, joint preparation of the excursion
• participation in the excursion,
• report on the selected site.

Graduation requirements:

• Completion of a total of 5 days of excursion during the Master's degree, i.e. during 4 semesters.
• Active completion of the specified tasks (100%) – report and final report – evaluation of the institutions and sites visited.
