Michał Rozenberg, MA is a PhD student at the Institute of Western and Southern Slavic Studies, University of Warsaw. Graduated from history at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and Slovak studies at the University of Warsaw. His research concerns the process of the modern Slovak nation formation at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries with a special focus on Polish-Slovak and Slovak-Russian relations. The subject of his dissertation is the issue in Svetozár H. Vajanski’s work. Besides, his research interests include also the issues of so called ‘Martin`s centre’ in Turčiansky Svätý Martin as well as the conceptualization of the city in the Slovak culture. Within the scope of numerous research and scholarship programs he worked and studied at Comenius University in Bratislava and Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. From March till August 2018 he works at the Department of Slovak History within the scope of Erasmus practice program.
