Objective:
The course focuses on deepening theoretical knowledge and its application in situ when exploring memory institutions and monuments of supra-regional importance abroad. It acquires practical experience of the significance of cultural and technical heritage in the Central European area and knowledge for their proper evaluation, interpretation and meaning. The student actively participates in the preparation of the excursion site.
Brief overview:
- Based on the knowledge gained from other courses, students will design an itinerary for an excursion abroad, focusing on Central Europe,
- selection of the location, joint preparation of the excursion,
- participation in the excursion,
- report on the selected site.
Graduation requirements:
- Completion of a total of 5 days of excursion during the Master's degree, i.e. during 4 semesters.
- Active completion of the specified tasks (100%) – report and final report – evaluation of the institutions and sites visited.

- According to the focus of the specific excursion - inventories and syntheses on the chosen period and location, as well as scientific studies on predetermined sites.
