Is the study program Central European Studies offered fully in English language?
Yes. The study program Central European Studies is offered fully in English language. However during the studies, you learn also different central European languages based on your choice from the available offer (Slovak – compulsory for foreign students, Hungarian, Slovenian, Polish, German).
Do I pay the tuition fees for the study program Central European Studies?
No, the program is free if you study as a full-time student. This applies for Slovak and also for foreign students.
How long do I study to obtain the Bachelor of Arts degree?
Standard length of the Bachelor studies is 3 years.

Is it possible to stay at student dormitories during my studies at the Faculty of Arts?
Yes, all foreign students are offered the accommodation at student dormitories in Mlynska dolina (20 minutes by public transport from the faculty). You apply for dormitories after you are admitted for studies. If you wish you may also find the accommodation elsewhere (private apartment, private dormitories).
What are costs of living in Bratislava?
The costs of living are very individual. If you stay in dormitories, you pay for the accommodation approximately 60 – 90 EUR/month, in the private room in apartment is might be around 180 EUR/month, at private dormitories around 200 – 250 EUR/month. Other living costs might be between 200 – 300 EUR/month.
