WHERE AND HOW TO FIND US
The Department of Slovak History is located at Šafárikovo námestie 6, in the main building of Comenius University, recognizable by its travertine-clad façade and semi-circular floor plan.
Enter through the main stairs into the vestibule. Walk through the vestibule to the main hall on the ground floor. Turn left (there is a reception desk where you can obtain more detailed information) and you will see the entrance to the staircase area. Take either the stairs or the lift to the 4th floor.
When you reach the 4th floor, go through the glass swing doors into the corridor (here you will find the Department of Slovak History, the Department of General History, and the Department of Archival Studies and Auxiliary Historical Sciences).
After entering through the glass doors, turn left and follow the corridor to its end, where the department office (secretariat) is located.
