The semianr library

The seminar library of the Departments of History of the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava is one of the oldest and largest seminar libraries. Its collection has been constantly growing since 1921, when the Departments of Historical Sciences were established at the Faculty of Arts, Comenius University in Bratislava. It contains about 50,000 volumes of scholarly literature in the field of Slovak and general history, and other related fields.

The collection of the Historical Seminar is cataloged and accessible through an online catalog. More than 36,000 volumes are available to users. After ordering through the request, the literature will be prepared for the second day in the study room (room no. 425) in the Comenius University building on Šafárikovo námestie, on the 4th floor.
