Research

The research activities of the Department of General History are focused mainly on research in the history of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, and also in Minor and Central Asia. Members of the department participate on numerous domestic and international projects and grants. The results of their research are published in domestic and foreign journals and reviewed volumes. The department issues its own reviewed volumes (Acta Historica Posoniensia, Byzantinoslovaca and others) and works of monographic and educational nature.
