Dr. Aneta Világi graduated from Comenius University, Faculty of Arts (2003, political science). In 2006 she completed her doctoral studies in the field of Theory of Politics. Currently she is a member of the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Arts, CU. Her research focuses on domestic politics and the membership of Slovakia in the EU, particularly on public attitudes and inter-ethnic relations in Slovakia. From 2003 to 2008 she was a member of the Research Centre of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association as an analyst within the European Studies programme. She completed study and research stays at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA and at the ARENA Centre for European Studies, University of Oslo. She has participated in numerous research projects, e.g. EUROREG and POLITIS, the 6th Framework Programme of the European Commission, the AVPP project of IMCODED and as a lead researcher she chaired the “CODES: Comprehending and Debating Euroscepticism”, a project supported by the European Commission within the ‘Europe for Citizens’ programme aimed at research on public perceptions and communication channels (2017-18).

Dr. Aneta Világi was appointed to the position of the Vice-dean for faculty development and international relations on 01 February, 2019. Since 01 July, 2019 she is a vice-dean for international relations and mobility coordinator.
