Juraj Šedivý
Prof. PhDr. Juraj Šedivý, MAS, PhD.
Graduated at Institut for Austrian Historical Research (IOeG, Vienna) and the Faculty of Arts of the Comenius University (FiF UK, Bratislava). He has long specialized in auxiliary historical sciences related to the history of written culture in medieval Central Danubia (palaeography, epigraphy, codicology, diplomatics) and has worked on the history of cities (especially Bratislava) in the Middle Ages. He initiated the creation of the memory portal PamMap and Memory of the City of Bratislava. He is a member of international committees for palaeography (CIPL), diplomatics (CID) and urban history (CIHV).
