Lenka Vargová

Mgr. Lenka Vargová, PhD.

Graduate of the Faculty of Arts, Comenius University, majoring in Museology and Cultural Heritage. She is mainly focused on the topics of museum pedagogy and interactivity, as well as the history of daily life (especially the topic of housing in Bratislava in the 19th and 20th centuries). She is a member of ICOM SK, OKVAV ZMS and the editorial board of the journal Museology and Cultural Heritage and Studia Museologica Slovaca.

 

 

Education and Qualifications

  • 2015- 2019:  Comenius University - Faculty of Arts, doctoral study -Slovak history / Museology and Cultural Heritage. PhD. thesis: Housing in interwar Bratislava: furnishings and interior accessories.
  • 2010-2015:  Comenius University - Faculty of Arts, bachelor and master studies - Museology and Cultural Heritage. MA thesis: Daily life of a burgher family, documentation in the museum's collection fund. BA thesis: Digitisation in museums.
