In the area of research, the department focuses especially on current issues related to marketing communication in media. In recent years, its faculty have been involved in grant research projects aimed at analyzing the current situation and trends in advertising, the ethics, language and style of advertisements and other elements of integrated marketing communication in Slovakia after 2000. Within the grant projects, the department has published textbooks for its students, but also articles and monographs for practical use in the field of marketing communication.
