Bibliotheca Alexandrina
The reviewed volume Bibliotheca Alexandrina is a peer-reviewed scientific journal produced on a yearly basis and thus the published texts have to meet certain technical and formal criteria. Its structure consists of regular columns (studies, reviews, news) and also irregular sections (materials, horizons, etc.) which are published dependingly. The reviewed volumes include texts of ancient history and related disciplines in a broader sense. Within ancient history it has no limited time or content definition. We publish all history works, including the oldest cultures of the ancient East up until the year 1453, i.e. you will also find works dedicated to the reception of ancient and Byzantine history. We accept studies from different fields across philology, everyday issues, economic, social and cultural history, and similar.
