Fourth run of Innovative teaching that inspires good learning

In the academic year 2024/25 we are offering for the fourth time a course for PhD students, postgraduate students, and experienced lecturers that provides the theoretical and practical foundations of teaching at university in higher education.

The course is offered in combined Slovak and English in the form of eight half-day workshops in the winter semester and a practical part in the summer semester, where the participants have the opportunity to integrate what they learnt from the workshops into their teaching practice, in cooperation with a selected coach from among the course facilitators.The course introduces active teaching methods such as group work, kinestetic learning, the use of games and videos, and others, including methods suitable for online teaching and different forms of assessment that participants can apply in their courses. The course is accredited internationally by the UK's Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA). All graduates will receive an internationally valid certificate. PhD students will also receive 5 ECTS credits for each semester successfully completed.More details can be found in the Slovak language version of this website.
