Surveys used for theses

Surveys and polls accompanying bachelor’s or master’s thesis can no longer be distributed using mass emails. In an effort to find a way to send out such surveys without spamming the inboxes of users, we have launched a new tool.

At the bottom of the left menu column in AIS, you will find the discussion topic Theses surveys. There, you can add a link to your survey or poll and anyone interested can fill it out.

A few notes:

1. Prior to publication of the survey, it will have to be approved to avoid any misuse of the discussion for other purposes;
2. In the window, you can provide a link to the survey and its topic (all the other details can be included in the introductory text of the survey itself);
3. Once the data collection process is complete, the survey should be removed from the discussion.
