She studied Slovak Language and Literature at Faculty of Arts, Comenius University in Bratislava (2001 - 2006). In 2013 she completed her PhD studies at the Department of Slovak Language, Faculty of Arts, Comenius University. She has been a co-investigator of the grant task of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic Educational Programme Slovak as a Foreign Language where she co-authored a series of SFL textbooks Krížom-krážom B1, B2 (2011 and 2014). From 2013 to 2017 she held the post of lector of Slovak language and culture at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow.

She is currently teaching language courses, conducting language competency testing, focusing on didactics of Slovak as a second/foreign language, and supervising bachelor and master theses in the Central European Studies program.
