Aspects of Linguistics and Grammatography


Contributions from
Classical Philology, Indo-European Linguistics,
and Slovak and Slavic diachronic linguistics 

Major topics
• Phonetics and phonology, morphology, vocabulary, syntax,
semantics and history of grammar, in Latin, Greek and Slavic languages
• Connection between the Latin grammatical tradition embodied in the Artes grammaticae
and the traditions of vernacular grammars (until the 19th century)

• Testing the theoretical background of ancient grammars
against the updated models of nowadays' general linguistics

The conference will take place 20 - 22 June 2021
at the Faculty of Arts, Comenius University in Bratislava (Gondova 2)

The languages of the conference:
English, German, French, Italian, all Slavic languages
