Editing and Publishing
Programmes: Bachelor’s and Master’s Full-Time Programmes
Contents and objectives: the study programme of Editing and Publishing wants to address those who are interested in creative writing or those, who might have been practicing creative writing during their secondary education. Our undergraduates can gain theoretical knowledge from the fields of linguistics and literary theory, can get acquainted with the specificities of information and communication technologies (multimedial communication, publishing and editing activities) as well as the different techniques of text formation (with special emphasis on fiction and non-fiction).
Future prospects: the graduates of this programme can work in Hungarian publishing houses as well as in artistic or cultural institutions, advertising agencies or administrative institutions.
Prerequisites: final leaving examination (maturita) of Hungarian language and literature or B2 level Hungarian language acquisition (based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
