Mgr. Filip Majerský
Filip Majerský (*1995, Bratislava) completed his Slovak-English bilingual studies at Bilíkova Gymnázium in Bratislava. He then obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees from the Department of Musicology at Comenius University in Bratislava. He has been playing musical instruments since early childhood. During his time at the elementary school of arts he learned to play the recorder, piano, and clarinet and he has experience as a drummer as well. His research interests lie mainly in musical psychology, such as the effect of music on an individual and its catchiness, in particular the so-called earworm phenomenon, which was the subject of both his bachelor's and master's theses. Building on this work he is now doing research on the topic of Creativity, stereotypes and the earworm syndrome in the perception of music under the guidance of Prof. Yvetta Kajanová, PhD.
