Ján Valo, Ph.D.

 

He was born on February 4, 1985 in Bratislava.

Primary school he attended from 1992 to 2001 after completing his studies in 2001 and 2005 at the Albert Einstein Gymnasium in Bratislava. His next journey was at Comenius University in Bratislava. You chose the study of archives, which has successfully completed a bachelor's degree in 2009. A year later he also finished second - a master's degree study. In 2010 he entered the doctoral study Auxiliary Sciences in History with the theme of national borders in Slovakia and concept creation of territorial administration in years 1918 and 1950. In 2014 doctoral studies successfully completed the thesis defense on The border of Slovakia in years 1918 - 1945.

Professionally deals with problems of historical demography, historical statistics, historical geography, topography and cartography as well as issues of activities of the security forces in Czechoslovakia after World War II. The Department of Archives and ASH at present teaches courses:

His hobbies include music, literature, computer and telecommunication technology, photography, hiking, and many others.
