1. | Information security in the context of information literacy in Slovakia** | The purpose of the thesis is to examine the extent to which information literacy skills influence the understanding and implementation of information security practices. It analyses the current state of information literacy in Slovakia and identifies key challenges and opportunities in the context of a rapidly evolving digital environment. It also examines the role of educational institutions, government policies and public awareness campaigns in enhancing information security through improving literacy. By analysing empirical data, the study attempts to identify how information literacy affects individuals' ability to protect themselves against digital threats such as misinformation, data leaks and cyber-attacks. The research should result in recommendations for policy makers, educators and information professionals on how to integrate information security education into broader information literacy initiatives in Slovakia |
2. | Information creativity in digital information environment** | The objective of the thesis is a complex analysis of information creativity with the use of applied psychology of human creativity and tools of artificial intelligence in support of creative work with information. Selected basic models of human information creativity, results of empirical studies of information creativity and tools of artificial intelligence should be analysed. An own empirical study of information creativity will be designed focused on a sample of doctoral students in different disciplines, education, and arts. Innovative research methodologies will be applied, mainly the art-based methods (e.g. visualizations). Experimental evaluation of tools of artificial intelligence for enhancement of information creativity will be proposed. New original innovative models of the creative information work in digital environment will be designed and methods for support of information creativity in the contexts AI literacy and ethics of AI. |

On the basis of a retrospective bibliography, to quantify and chronologically define the market prints published in Slovakia in the 18th and 19th century in the context of their publishing background and motives of creation. To identify market prints published as a medium of communication of serious real events or published as a means of spreading tabloid or fabricated content. To identify tools to increase the credibility of market prints. To describe the meaning of the illustration on market prints and its connection with the content of the communicated text. |
4. | Libraries in the information ecosystem of contemporary society: analysis of the current status and potential functions of a selected type of libraries** | The aim of the doctoral theses is to study the current as well as the expected future tasks and functions of a selected type of libraries from the point of view of their position in the changing information ecosystems of developed societies in the 21st century. The professional literature and conceptual materials will be analysed. |
5. | The development and meaning of parliamentary reporting and journalism in radio broadcasting in Slovakia after 1989** | The aim of the dissertation is to map parliamentary news and journalism in radio broadcasting in Slovakia since the fall of the communist regime. The specific points that will document the process of their development on the time line will be the periods before the parliamentary elections. As a rule, the four-year cycles will show how the methods, form and approach to information have changed. The research will consist of a qualitative analysis of the news outputs of Radio Journal editors and presenters of selected news programmes. |
6. | The future of cultural foundations in Slovakia and its impact on their marketing communication** | The aim of this dissertation will be to create possible scenarios of the future state of cultural support by foundations in Slovakia by 2035, which will influence their marketing communication. The dissertation is based on the Delphi method, where cultural experts will outline their estimates in the sector and the possibilities of using marketing communication tools. The thesis responds to the problem of how to make culture as accessible as possible in a situation where the state budget contributions to finance these facilities are increasingly reduced. In this context, cultural foundations will have to adapt their communication and use new communication tools. A practical contribution of the thesis will be the identification of other emerging segments in culture that contribute to the social development of society. The theoretical contribution will be the characterization of the possibility of building a foundation-society relationship on the basis of marketing communication presenting the value offered in the context of the sustainability of its business. |
7. | Managing provider-customer relationships in the provision of self-development services for employees in the context of dual market orientation in the development of value proposition** | As a result of the company's focus on performance, employees are expected to continually increase their work productivity, which requires them to be able to overcome the fear of evaluating its product in the marketplace. For this reason, this dissertation offers a managerial perspective on the development of a dual market orientation concept for an employee service provider. It uses a supply-side analytical approach in order to highlight the prospects for developing the value of the relationship as perceived by its customers who feel a lack of need for further self-development. |
8. | Remarketing as a tool for re-acquiring customers of e-commerce service providers** | Customer remarketing is becoming an increasingly topical area of interest for researchers and practitioners. The aim of this thesis will be to identify customer relationship management strategies and practices that are characterized by low customer loss rates in the long term in the e-commerce industry. The contribution of the thesis will be to propose a model based on the theory of the relationship between the buyer and the e-shop through attributes such as provider branding, email marketing in relation to personalized, rep. non-personalised content, paid ads on social networks, banners, etc. The dissertation will deepen the knowledge of the impact of remarketing on the formation of relationships between a provider and its customers. |
9. | Using AI as a tool to create advertising photography that influences consumer buying behaviour** | With the rapid advancement of information technology, the creation of different types of digital images and ways to stimulate consumer buying behavior has proliferated. Based on contingent behaviour theory, this dissertation will explore the moderating role of visuals in relation to consumer purchase intention. The practical contribution of the thesis is to highlight the perspectives of the use of AI tool in the work of marketing communication managers. The theoretical contribution of the thesis will be to characterize the impact of images on changes in consumer attitude towards purchase. |
10. | Marketing communication of busking in the era of artificial intelligence and social media** | The dissertation deals with the development, current trends and possibilities of using marketing communication tools by musicians and musical groups. Based on the research, the thesis identifies factors that influence the effectiveness of marketing communication in the field of street music and suggests suitable methods for more effective MK of street musicians using artificial intelligence and social networks. The work aims to contribute to the establishment of effective MK strategies in the music business. |
